قاتلوا الذين يقاتلونكم ولا تعتدوا إن الله لا يحب المعتدين.

Even in war… there are limits.
حتى في الحرب… هناك حدود.

And the Prophet Muhammad made those limits even clearer:
والنبي محمد وضّح هذه الحدود أكثر:

“Do not kill women. Do not kill children. Do not kill the elderly.”
لا تقتلوا النساء ولا الأطفال ولا الشيوخ.

من قتل نفسًا فكأنما قتل الناس جميعًا ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعًا.
Whoever kills a soul it is as if he has killed all of humanity and whoever saves a life it is as if he has saved all of humanity
One life… equals all humanity.
حياة واحدة… تعادل البشرية كلها.
One life equals all humanity
This is how valuable a human being is in Islam.
هكذا تُقدَّر قيمة الإنسان في الإسلام.

And the Prophet said:
وقال النبي:

“A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands people are safe.”
المسلم من سلم الناس من لسانه ويده.

Safe.
آمن.
Safe
Not afraid.
ليس خائفًا.
Not afraid
Safe.
آمن.

Islam is not just about belief.
الإسلام ليس مجرد عقيدة.

It is about character.
بل هو عن الأخلاق.
It is about character
The Prophet Muhammad said:
قال النبي محمد:
The Prophet Muhammad said
“The best among you are those who have the best character.”
خيركم أحسنكم خلقًا.
The best among you are those who have the best character
And the Quran teaches:
ويعلمنا القرآن:
And the Quran teaches
“Repel evil with what is better.”
ادفع بالتي هي أحسن.
Repel evil with what is better
Respond to hate… with goodness.
قابل الكراهية… بالخير.
Respond to hate with goodness
Respond to harm… with patience.
قابل الأذى… بالصبر.
Respond to harm with patience
This is strength.
هذه هي القوة.
This is strength
Real strength.
القوة الحقيقية.

Section 6: Forgiveness and Patience

The Quran says:
يقول القرآن:
The Quran says
“But if you forgive and overlook and pardon—then indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.”
فإن تعفوا وتصفحوا وتغفروا فإن الله غفور رحيم.
But if you forgive and overlook and pardon then indeed God is Forgiving and Merciful
And the Prophet showed this in his life.
وقد جسّد النبي ذلك في حياته.

When he had the power to take revenge… he chose forgiveness.
عندما كان يملك القدرة على الانتقام… اختار العفو.

This is not weakness.
هذا ليس ضعفًا.
This is not weakness
This is greatness.
هذا هو العظمة.
This is greatness

Section 7: Justice with Mercy

Islam teaches balance.
الإسلام يعلم التوازن.

Justice… and mercy.
العدل… والرحمة.
Justice and mercy
The Quran says:
يقول القرآن:

“Indeed, God commands justice, excellence, and giving.”
إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى.
Indeed God commands justice excellence and giving
Justice is required.
العدل مطلوب.

But mercy is always encouraged.
لكن الرحمة دائمًا مطلوبة.

إذن لماذا يُساء فهم الإسلام؟

But the actions of some people… do not represent the Quran.

Mercy.
رحمة.
